it says on the website that the magic your way package is autmatically activated when you book a disney resort along with the tickets..but since our credit card limit is far below the total amount, we will be buying tickets on-site and booking the hotel through a travel agent. I am a Chicagoan living in Prague. I want to go with a buddy somewhere warm, with SOFT sand beaches, great weather, and very comfortable hotels. Additionally I want a place large enough that there is something to do at night. I was on the (beautiful) Greek island of Thassos last year. The problem? Absolutely nothing to do at night. It had occurred to me that we could visit two places, but the package deals they sell here are way, way, way cheaper than what I could put together myself, so that's not an option. However, if I visited an island like Rhodes, perhaps they would have day trips to another island. (although that wasn't the case in Thassos) Uhhh.... did anyone read I want GOOD BEACHES? I've always gone to Disney with at least 3 other people (even more). Next year will be way different. 1.) I've never booked a trip (Mom has always done it). 2.) He has not really had a chance to look around New York yet since he has only been there a few months. I will be there between 4-7 days. Basically we want to do all of the touristy stuff like visit Ellis Island, take a NYC tour, Time Square etc etc. Please give me some advise on how we can do this the most economically. Were leaving on the 27th to go to Disney world for 5 ngts. & then were staying in Tampa for another 5 ngts. My question is though, Is there a shuttle u can take to leave the park if u want to go out to eat, shopping, etc.??& do they charge u for it? We have transfer tickets with our package & i know in the park there's no charge for the trams. Were staying at the pop century & were not renting a car while at Disney, but was just curious if we want to leave the park to eat or whatever. Were not doing the dining plan & i found a few places in the park that food is $14.99 & under, same at hotel so that's not to bad. I'm taking $3500.00 with me for the 11 days & the travel agent said that should be well enough since all other expenses are already paid for. I just don't want to have to spend $900.00 in 5 days in the park for 3 of us to eat everyday. Our friends in Tampa said there use to be a shuttle that would take u on the strip outside the park, so just curious if any1 knows? Have been posting a lot last few days but its because I just my mind is numb, overwhelmed not sure how to describe it. Gotten some good ideas and hope can get one more then maybe will be able to really figure things out. Once again here is the brief info of what I am dealing with and done. Had planned a trip to France & Italy for 20th wedding anniversary. The vacation was to begin yesterday and would last 20 days. Found out last Wednesday that my wife had a 3 month affair about 2 years ago. A mutual friend let the cat out of the bag and wife confessed and said it was a stupid mistake. That she was just going through some sort of midlife crisis (bologna) and that loved me very much. Did not go, as can tell, did offer wife to take the trip she refused since I was not going. Gave the entire Package to brother and wife rather then see it go to waste. Did not ask brother for anything for the trip but will take suggest given to broach some sort of return on the cost when brother returns but do not think will get much back and do not expect it since did not ask for anything when gave it to him. Will not hold that against my brother I just hated to see the money go to waste that had spent and was not thinking 100% clear. Have pretty much been able to handle the questions at work since did not and am not gone on vacation thanks to answers gotten here. To my current question I can not afford to move somewhere for now since that trip pretty much busted my savings. So staying at a hotel for a while is out of the question. But can not stand going home and seeing wife each night right now. What is the best hotels to stay at Niagara Falls Canadian Side? The attractions we are planning to see are Bird Kingdom, Great Canadian Midway Magic Show, Journey Behind the Falls & Maid of the Mist. These are the 4 we are most interested in. We'd enjoy the others, but it's not 100% necessary unless it comes with the package. We are 2 adults, not sure which nights but it will be between August 21-28, 2009 for 2 nights which is to be decided.
