I know this is just one of a fair few theories, including Thera, the Antarctic, etc. I just wanted to know if anyone knew what happened to the expedition run by the institute of metahistory founded by Viatcheslav Koudriavstev to find out if this theory was accurate, if it indeed ever got off the ground? Bobfearo... it does, thank you very much, I really couldn't find anything to say what happened to it in my research! Meta doesn't necessarily mean "beyond" -- it usually means "of itself." So for example, metahistory is the history of history. Metapsychology is the psychology of psychology.
