I really dont understand why drivers do not stop when they know they have run over a cat and most likely have killed it...why! My aunties cat, sadly was run over yesterday. She was found outside the house not in the midde of the road...but kinda in the road. She was dead, and it seems she must have ran out and the car came...and the cat smashed into the car bumber....broke it's neck and died instantly. There was a lot of blood, and i just cried. But...who ever did it....why didn't they stop and get out, see if the cat was ok and if not why didn't they check the tag and call the number on the tag....why! A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. Ok. Theres this guy my age, that ive kinda liked for some time. We met through a sport team that is outa school and consists of 7 players. I am the only girl. He played a word game with me; he talked to me; he looked at me often; when the waiter brought grapes, he chucked some ant me and a lemon, and he pluck the lemon seeds out of my hair; he comented on how i was, and he asked how i was. ; he went over to another teams table, and asked the guy(a friend of his) to ask me who i liked, and i said no one. From then on I FELL IN LOVE. DOES HE LIKE ME? Okay, so I bought a brand new car last year and got a new tag and everything. The car is in my dad's name because he has a better credit score. I gave him the $300 to pay my property taxes on it, but he NEVER paid them, and I don't have an extra $300 to pay them myself. My tag says it doesn't run out until July of this year, but I was told since my car is new and it's financed they can repossess my car for the new care taxes not being paid on them. I have a 4 year old german sheperd longhaired. I have had him since a puppy and recently he started acting really strange. He use to love it when i would take out the lead and he'd bark like crazy, and i then put the lead on him and he we'd go to the park and then id let him off to run around. But usually i would take him to the park in the car. so one day i got the lead out, and i said " come here boy" he just lay on the floor. i put the lead on him and he wouldnt budge. I was like "what's going on?"so i got the car keys, he ran out of the door to the boot, then quickly grabbed the lead before he could sit down and ran with him to the park,, next day same thing happend but this him i held him by the colar so he wouldnt sit down put the lead on him and just ran with him out of the path and on to the street where then he happly walked to the park. Its a constant battle every day to, ratle the car keys and then put the lead on him take him to the park, although it's fairly easy to hold him and get him to the street and start walking. im just a bit puzzled why? i really dont understand why he does it. At the park he's fine, doesnt get in any fights, he's just a regualr dog, and runs around the field playing fetch with the stick, and he always near me and he hasnt had any fall outs with dogs so i really dont know. What i have realised though it that when i use to run really fast acroos the field park, he'd bet me eaisly, and now he just tags behind and comes 5 mins later. I was thinking about the relationships I have with my friends. I only really have 2 close friends : one is married with one child and one on the way and she also lives a 5 hour drive away from me. We don't see each other all that often but since she's had her first child (who is now 3) I've had to drive to her whenever I want to see her. We used to meet halfway but this doesn't happen anymore... If I go to visit I'll often stay for the weekend and will take her young daughter a gift. If we do go out at all it'll be for a pub lunch and I'll always pay half (she seems to like to stay in now she's pregnant and the weekend will largely consist of me tagging along with her and her husband).She has a far higher income than me. Sometimes replies to my texts or emails can take days too - if they come at all. Then, when I do hear from her she's really friendly. My other best friend lives a lot nearer and whenever we see each other this will largely consist of me picking him up from work and driving him back to my house where I'll cook us a meal and we'll watch films. Occasionally we'll get take-away and we do go halves on this but I'll always make sure the fridge is well stocked with wine or the beer that he likes... I saw him this weekend and drove him to a furniture retailer so that he could get some tables - putting the seats down in my car to fit the stuff in. It's mainly just the two of us hanging out and we don't have mutual friends. When he had a house-warming I wasn't invited but he said this was 'just a few people from work'. Similarly, when my ex boyfriend moved into his flat, as he didn't drive I spent the weekend ferrying his stuff to and fro from his old place to his new flat... I also think that during the time we were together (a year) every time we went for a meal or on an outing we always went halves on the bill... Now, any dates that I do have I always pay my half. Am I a pushover or is this just how things are for most people? ok so i admit the question doesnt make too much sense!! so i have my chance here: I have a w reg (2000) clio with a cassette player, I have a cassette adapter and have soldered the headphones wire to a small jack and use my pda to play music via its mini usb to the tape player! its a mission to be honest as I have to adjust the volume on the software, the volume on the pda the volume on the headphones wire and yes the volume on the car player as well! this needs to be adjusted everytime an mp3 has a different kbps setting!! so I start looking for an alternative!! I just generally feel that girls these days are physically more stronger than ever, without having that hugely muscular look. To be honest,i have come across girls who look like the average girl next door and yet they have been pretty strong (being able to carry heavy items perhaps for work or when moving house). Giving birth i know is the single most physically strong thing a woman can do but in terms of exerting strength in every day life, have you got any bragging rights?? Some people think a strong girl/woman is intimidating but i think being strong, whether you are male or female is a worthwhile attribute to have. Insecure people will say it takes away a woman's femininity but it doesn't. Our cat CHI pronounced CHEE jumped out of the window last night. We live on the first floor of a block of flats and she is terrified of the outdoors and has never been outside. She has not been chipped and has no identity tags. We immediately went outside to see where she landed but couldn't find her anywhere. She landed in the car park but we checked under all the cars. There is dense undergrowth at the end of the car park that goes right up into the hills where we think she might have ran to hide. Since i was a child i had a friend and we grew up together. we are both 28 now.Through out the years his attitude has changed. Every time he wants to go somewhere he will call me to come with him. Right... my boyfriend is 21 and I'm 19. He has a 5 year old sister who is unbelievably spoiled. If she doesn't get her own way she throws a temper tantrum till she gets it. He recently got a new car and had to borrow some of the money from his mum who took it out his sister's savings (he's paying it back). Problem is... I don't know if it's just becuase he's used it but I find it totally ridiculous that we can't even go for a drive on a Saturday without her tagging along. I know it sounds immature but I'm starting to resent a 5 year old! basically, a good friend of mine who i work with was desperate recently to find a boyfriend. now she has found a chap. he is a nice lad and generally seems ok. but unfortunately, he is beginning to impinge on our social life. Me and my friend used to often go out for drinks together all the time and have a great laugh chatting to men, not to seduce them just to have a laugh but since hitching up with her boyfriend our usual conversation that used to be about men, clothes, make up and people we know has since evaporated and all i hear now is 'oh isnt luke lovely' 'luke said this' 'im stopping at lukes tonight' dont get me wrong i dont mind her talking about her boyfriend occasionally but she talks about nothing else. As well, she demands we go on nights out, then begs me not to leave her so i dont have a chance to talk to any other men which would mean i could possibly find a bf of my own and i wouldnt feel so out of it when she goes on and on about hers! The final straw came when she introduced me to one of her bf's mates with the hope of 'setting us up' as soon as i met him i could tell straight away he wasnt my type. nothing wrong with him, very nice boy, just not for me which i basically told her. last night was bank holiday and slutty though it may be i fancied a bit of male attention but low and behold we ran into her boyfriends mate and he tagged along with us for the night which again, i didnt mind. However, my plans for flirting were scuppered when he went to the toilet and she said to me 'ohhh he realli likes you so dont go off with anyone else and rub his face in it' so basically i had to sit all night with them when i could have been on the hunt for a man who i found attractive myself. As well, i get the feeling that she pretends to me that her fella is alot more into her than he actually is. for example last night, she got a text on her phone and she was like :o and i goes 'whats wrong' and she says 'lukes just texted me and said he wants a baby' and is constantly telling me all sorts of far fetched stories like this. the final, final straw came when last night 2 hours before kicking out time at 12 she says 'oh luke has said we can all go back to his.' now luke lives about 15 minutes away from the pubs and clubs. so me, my friend and her bf's friend who had been drinking with us got in a taxi and went to lukes house which again i didnt mind as long as we were continuing the drinking and the partying. however, when we arrived at lukes his house was in darkness and his car wasnt there. His mate rang him and asked where he was and luke said he was at work and had had a busy night on saturday night and so was tired now and didnt want us waiting for him when he got back which i thought was fair enough. however my friend burst into tears then stomped off, probably because she realised she'd been caught telling fibs. im bloody annoyed with the whole situation. what can i do? would you like it if you were being emotionally blackmailed to go out with someone who you had no interest in whatsoever just to keep your friends boyfriend of 1 MONTH happy?!?! no?!?! didnt think so! and yeah it is her life but she shouldnt harass me to go out for drinks with her if all shes going to talk about all night is her man and forbid me from talking to anyone else. and its all very well being a goody goody two shoes and taking the side of the person who is being criticised but if YOU had a friend who harassed you to go out, then emotionally blackmailed you, lied to you then you would feel the same. and to the person who said 'no wonder she has to make up lies to impress you' i was friends with her LONG before her bf showed up and she didnt feel the need to tell lies then? so why now? moreVoting Question: What are tags, In USA you always say check my tags on my car?

Right so here's the problem! My boyfriend got his first car at the weekend and his mum paid the deposit and gave him money towards it and stuff. When me and my boyfriend want to go out just the 2 of us his little brother and sister always want to tag along! There'll approximatly be 6 months before the initial move & 6 months before the second & final move to Seattle. I'm looking for the cheapest yet most reliable/practical plan. Should i pay a shipping company to move my things and buy a fuel effecient car or should i buy a pickup to haul everything at once. If i buy a pickup, it should be a comprehensive vehicle for these requirements. I have to move my belongings somehow. When i owned a b400 Mazda pickup, i moved all my things from Montana to SD whithin 2 days, back in April 2005. I think i spent under 850 dollars. My scenic viewing modestly contributed to the time and price it took me for the entire trip. I currently don't have the same pickup or even own a vehicle for that matter. This regards "best friends" - who I will refer to as J and S. J is my best guy friend, I met him at the start of college almost 2 years ago, in the past year we've become much closer friends. It doesn't help that im in love with him either. He was the one I have hung out with every lunchtime for ages. S is a female friend, known her for years at school but never spoke until her friends left school at the start of college, and she started tagging along with me and J in this past year. She never spoke to J before. Ive noticed that S is becoming incredibly tight with J recently, most likely cos she is a more outgoing character, more talkative. She gets along really well with him. The problem being they are so wound up in each other now, they spend their lives at each others houses, yesterday she told me she was doing work all night, but her car was outside his house all night. They randomly walk off at school together. We never do things as a trio anymore, which is how it used to be. Ive been really unhappy about feeling left out, almost depressed about it, for a few days now.
