Some of you may be aware that I am the mandolin specialist in a neo-string band called The Human Condition. We recently played 3 shows with the legendary Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. After a rowdy night at Hotel Utah (never seen that many people there for a show!), we piled into the 4Runner and hauled ass down to The Mint in LA, where we learned that Bon Jovi pretty much ripped off his entire act from this guy. Open Question: What should I do about this ebay situation?
I started selling on ebay about 4 months ago, and this lady bought a laptop sold as, " parts but did work " needs battery, hard drive, and memory to fully function. She then asks me to ship it to her with no invoice, and a note saying she only payed $20 for it, when in reality she payed $125.00 so I am now confused by why she is going about all this in such a difficult way, and not logical? I told her I could not do that, and scam what she really payed is such a way. She then told me she does it all the time, and it is easy? She then wanted me to write on the shipping box, " books " and I told her I would not make up lies to cover up a transaction. She then told me she is a customer, and wishes to be pleased as one, with having a happy smooth transaction here. I told her that the item has already been shipped out, and she then asked me what the box label read as an item, meaning " books " I said no, it reads HP as it was shipped in it's original box it came in? as I always do, otherwise I would have had to take a road trip, buy a box for it to fit into, and all that extra legwork to do, which I feel was unecessary? Then she say's she is getting in in Florida, but is bringing it to her country with her...can anybody make since of this situation? how would you handle this transaction with her? moreOpen Question: Spending New Year's Eve in Vegas?

There's a guy I like who I work with. We're both 17, he's really nice, interesting, and very smart. Another co worker of mine told me we flirt all the time and we always go to lunch together on our break (and he usually pays!) We planned a week beforehand that we would take a mini road trip out of town and tour a college campus just for fun and then have dinner. He agreed and told me how he was really excited. But literally the morning of, he texted me saying he was grounded... I don't know if he's lying or not. I don't see why he would not want to go because he said he would and we planned everything. Small Details:I am going to a church camp in Prescott, Arizona for 6 days. It is about a 10 hour drive from where I am in Utah. Car ride: There is a car full of girls and a car full of guys, all from my church. But half of the girls hate me and think they are better than everyone else-what should I do to be nice without trying too hard? My neighbor/friend Rachel is also going. Any fun things to do when you're trapped in the car? Electronics: I don't get to have my cell phone or iPod at camp because they think it will limit our learning and we will get distracted by electronics, but I can have them on the car ride over. Food: We will be stopping twice along the way to eat. What are some good restaurants that you would suggest for road trip food? Housing: The camp isn't outdoors, they are in cabins that look like log cabins on the outside and look like condos on the inside. There are 4 rooms, 2 girls to a room, and each room has their own bathroom. Any advice on what toiletries to bring? Activities: These are fun, I don't need help with this one. :D My hair: It is brunette at the roots, caramel-y in the middle, and white blond on the ends (never been dyed). It is waist length and naturally straight but it almost always wavy and gets tangled sooooooooooo easily. Any advice on hair care products that work for hair like that? A guy took his blonde girlfriend on a fishing trip. They rent all the equipment: the reels, the rods, the wading suits, the rowboat, the car, and even a cabin in the woods. They spend a fortune. The first day they go fishing, but they don't catch anything. The same thing happens on the second day, and on the third day. It goes on like this until finally, on the last day of their vacation, the guy catches a fish. As they're driving home they're really depressed. The guy turns to his girlfriend ans says, "Do you realize that this one lousy fish we caught cost us fifteen hundred dollars?" The girlfriend says, "Wow! It's a good thing we didn't catch any more!" another: At a dinner party, several of the guests were arguing whether men or women were more trustworthy. No woman, said one man, scornfully, can keep a secret. I dont know about that, answered a blonde woman guest. I have kept my age a secret since I was twenty-one. Youll let it out some day, the man insisted. I hardly think so responded the blonde lady. When a woman has kept a secret for twenty-seven years, she can keep it forever. another: A blonde had just gotten a new sports car and was out for a drive when she accidentally cut off a large truck. The driver was outraged and was eventually able to make her pull over. He got out of his truck and pulled a piece of chalk from his pocket. He drew a circle on the side of the road and gruffly commanded to the blonde in his most threatening voice, "Stand in that circle and DON'T MOVE!" He then went to her car and cut up her leather seats. When he turned around she had a slight grin on her face, so he said, "Oh you think that's funny? Watch this!" He gets a baseball bat out of his truck and breaks every window in her car. When he turns and looks at her she has a smile on her face. Now he's getting really mad. He gets his knife back out and slices all her tires. Now she's laughing. The truck driver is really starting to lose it. He goes back to his truck and gets an extra can of diesel fuel, pours it on her car and sets it on fire. He turns around and she is laughing so hard she is about to fall down. "What's so funny?" the truck driver asked the blonde. She replied, "Every time you weren't looking, I stepped outside the circle!" another: Two blondes meet in Heaven. "How did you die?", the first one asks."Oh! I died in a freezer," the second blonde replied." So how did you die?" The second blonde asks, "Well, I suspected my husband was having an affair, so one day when I came home early from work, I looked all over the house, trying to look for the other woman because I saw that my husband was naked. When I coming upstairs from searching the basement, I slipped and broke my neck. I never got to find that woman," replied the first blonde. The second blonde then says, "If only you looked in the freezer, maybe we both might still have been alive!" another: A blonde who suspects her boyfriend of cheating on her goes out and buys a gun. She goes to his apartment unexpectedly, opens the door, and, sure enough, finds him naked in the arms of a redhead. Well, now she’s angry. She opens her purse and takes out the gun. But as she does so, she is overcome with grief and points the gun at her own head. The boyfriend yells, "No, honey, don’t do it." "Shut up," she says. "You’re next." last one: As a blonde crawls out of her wrecked car, the local sheriff asks her what happened. The blonde began, "It was the strangest thing! I looked up and saw a tree, so I swerved to the right. Then I saw another tree, so I swerved to left. Then there was another tree, and another and another ..." The sheriff thought for a minute and then said, "Mam ... I don't know how to tell you this, but the only thing even resembling a tree on this road for thirty miles is your air freshener." moreOpen Question: Please Answer My Air Force Life Questions If You Know The Answers. Thanks!?
How is the weather apprentice/meteorologist job? How are the aviation jobs (UAV Pilot vs Fighter Pilot) I plan to be a weather apprentice at first, if not then something to with aviation. Where will i be taking college courses (after tech school) to eventually get my Bachelors degree if I am always on the move? When having the actual career in the air force (and minus the traveling to where they tell you to go) is life simple like a civilian. I mean do you work (not counting shifts) a typical day job then afterwards and weekends go out and do stuff like camping, vacations, boating, hiking, road trips? Also, after years of moving around and serving...can you choose a base to settle down at and be there until you retire? If so when can that happen by. How does this pay scale work? I examined it but say I was enlisted 4 and then got my bachelors. Would I become O-1 and work my way up or just get pushed to a higher rank of officer. I'm confused about how the ranking up works. Also, are you guaranteed to rank up each year (how long does it take to rank up?) Is pay good enough considering food is payed for, housing is payed for, and so forth? Could i be able to afford stuff like nice electronics and a car? Speaking of car...I don't want to have no car every new place I get deployed to. Whats the best option? Leasing out a car for a few years and then doing the same when you deploy to a new location? Overall everyone, I come from an upper class family but I am a really simple person and don't ask for much. I want to build my character, eventually find love, and meet great people and make great friends and see new places and enjoy the world. I don't care about money...I do care about family though, so is family life good in the air force? What do you say should i go for it if i love weather/aviation? moreResolved Question: Is this a bad reason to break up with someone?
We're great together. Not a match made in heaven, but it's not the sort of relationship that I could just cut loose from and forget about. But something's beginning to wear me to the bone. She's always busy. We used to meet every weekday afternoon, and on weekends every now and then. But now that the school year is over, it's like I never see her. It's not all her fault, either. Her parents are competitive about her schedule, and she'll be gone on vacations and road trips for days on end. But when she has free time, she puts her best friend first and completely obliterates her schedule. I haven't talked to her in person for weeks! So what do I do? This constant loneliness is driving me insane, and the only way out I can see is to break up. So what should I do? moreOpen Question: help finding a top gear episode?

My mom and I are going on a road trip soon, and we want to use my 30GB iPod for tunes. The thing is... we're both n00bs when it comes to iPod-to-car connections. I started with looking at standard iPod-to-aux input devices. I've looked for the aux input on the 2008 Corolla, but wasn't able to find it (I've yet to check the owner's manual, but if anyone knows where to find it, I'd appreciate it). Basically, neither of us have any clue what we're doing. I can't find the aux input (if there is one), and I can't find any legitimate-looking connectors for under $75. There's no way such a simple device costs so much... right? I don't know -- should I just go to RadioShack or something? moreOpen Question: favorite snacks for road trip?

I am going on a road trip cross country with my boyfriend. We outlined where we want to go and what we want to do. We have allotted 2 days in NYC for: -Statue of Liberty -Empire State Building (we don't have to take a tour, he is an architecture major and just really wants to see it) -Ground Zero -Times Square and I also want to see weird/funky stores and eat somewhere cheap/weird.. I know those places exist in NYC but I have no idea where! Where is a cool place to go shopping? Are the places we picked anywhere near each other? I know I need to take a boat to the Statue, but everything else can we just take subways around to? Are these areas safe? Also, anything we missed, I'd love to hear :) Thanks so much guys, ANY relevant information would be great, you don't have to answer all of these I know I am asking a lot! moreOpen Question: My tooth feels a little bit loose, I don't know what's wrong?
Well, for awhile now, my bottom, front tooth seems to wiggle a little bit when I try to wiggle it with my fingers, last year it was my front, top tooth..I HAVE been told in the past that I have(or HAD) gingivitis, HAD being the fact that my last trip to the dentist went well and they said my teeth//gums were perfect and that nothing was wrong. Sometimes during road trips(I recently took one to Florida) when I wake up from a nap my mouth feels weird and some of my teeth feel like they wiggle(I sleep on my face, but I don't know if that's why they do that). Anyway, I HAVE been flossing more often recently because of the feeling that my tooth wiggles. But I ALWAYS use a before-brushing mouthwash, brush my teeth and then use an after-brushing mouthwash, my gums are a healthy color, but I don't know why my tooth feels like it's wiggling, I asked my grandmother about this and she said that my teeth are fine//won't fall out(them falling out being what I'm afraid of) and to leave them alone. I've looked all over the internet about this and still can't come to a conclusion I'm happy with. So, should I just trust my grandma? Is what I'm experiencing normal? Or should I go to the dentist? I'm 19 by the way, and I'm hoping that I'm just overreacting and that I shouldn't be worried moreOpen Question: road trip.. ANY IDEAS?

What in car GPS would you recommend for me? I am currently on my road trip bringing my laptop around. I have two batteries; a 6 cell that came with my Toshiba laptop, and a 12 cell that i bought from Toshiba for my laptop. My 12 cell doesn't seem to hold a reasonable charge anymore. I did notice the performance decreasing under reasonable conditions including usage and age. I recall using it last before the Vista Service Pack 2 update. It must have lasted 4 hours of battery life. Yesterday I used the battery, which was fully charged, it only lasted for 50 minutes. I charged it overnight and tried using it again today. I got the same amount of usage time. My question is that battery gone? Could it have jumped to 4 hours to 50 minutes? Did the service pack update mess something up? Thanks in advance. moreOpen Question: Ideas for road trip to Canada?

Ok well I'm 13 and it started yesterday when we were going to go to my mom's house.I peed like 4 times in the hour before we got going on the road. The first time I peed a normal amount but the 2nd 3rd and 4th time it was way shorter and just a little bit came out. I still felt like I had to pee but I couldn't.We left right after I peed the 4th time. An hour into the trip,I felt like i had to go SOO bad I made my brother pull over at the nearest gas station. but when I went to the bathroom I peed half the amount of my normal. When we started off again I felt like I had to pee but not as bad. I waited til we got to my mom's house til i peed. But again just a small amount came out. I went to sleep when we got here and I didn't wake up any during the middle of the night to pee. I went pee when I got up this morning and I've only peed 2 times today (only small amounts) and like 2 seconds after i felt like i had to pee again. So could this be a UTI or something different? I have never had sex before just saying so it couldn't be STD's and i don't have any other symptoms of diabetes except for the frequent urination. I didnt mean to put it under STD's SORRY! moreOpen Question: i want to take a trip on my bike?
